| Things I've learned:
1. People cheat. Whether it's on a test or on a person, people cheat. No one's ever happy except for the cheater, until the cheater's circumstances haphazardly intensify. 2. We fall in love with our best friends. Whether we admit it or not depends on us. 3. There's a difference between loving someone, and being in love with someone. It's hard to distinguish, but when you figure it out, you have to either embrace them or release them. Make the right decision. 4. You can not change people. We may influence others to change, but changing is ultimately up to the person. 5. Do what you love to do, even if nobody supports you. If you succeed, you will be one step closer to happiness than the rest of the world. 6. We must forgive, and we must not hold grudges. 7. We will all betray, and be betrayed at least ten times in our lives. And I'm under-exaggerating. 8. When you get out of high school, you will be happier. Trust me. 9. You will lie to yourself often. You will attempt to please others before pleasing yourself, and you will convince yourself you want something when really, it is everyone else who wants that for you. 10. Nobody's perfect. We all fuck up, so there's no reason to dwell upon it. Just because your mistakes are different than another's doesn't mean that you're worse than s/he is
